Creative process
at a glance.
We believe the creative process should be simple, transparent, & collaborative between the client and the designer. We’ll keep you engaged every step of the way.
Discovery
Strategy & Goals Phase:

We review the creative brief with you (or help you develop one) which we use as the foundation for the project.
- The brief outlines the business objectives and design problems that we’ll provide solutions for.
- We then issue a proposal that maps out the scope of work, and schedule of work.
Concepting
Planning & Alignment Phase:

Through a series of alignment sketches combined with inspiration and competitive analysis, we explore potential design solutions.
- At this stage, the concepts are all very flexible, so we can easily accommodate changes and incorporate your team’s feedback (which is encouraged).
- If needed we’ll rework the inital round of concepts, to ensure we gain alignment with your team, before proceeding.
Art Development
Execution & Refinement Phase:
- In art development, we take the approved concept and create the art that will be used in production. We’ll explore variations of the design, the best of which are shared with you.
- This may require a few rounds of refinement, in which we incorporate your team’s feedback, to get to a final approval.
- During this phase, design variations can be tested with your consumers, and with their insights you can move forward with confidence.
Finalize
Clean-Up & Package Phase:
- Once we’ve finalized the creative, we ensure that the files we’re providing you or your production team are exactly what’s needed.
- We’re often communicating with your internal production team, or outside vendors throughout the design process.
